"Rádio Nova Era" is the most popular local radio for yongesters in Portugal. In the last 10 years this radio from Oporto has organized the "Best of the Year" gala: a free event (invitations are distributed to listeners of the radio) that gathers thousands of persons with memorable musical moments. Some of the presents of the last editions included both international and national groups like Ultra Naté, James, Anouk, Gabriel o Pensador, Killer Barbies, Lighthouse Family, The Ones, Rui Veloso, GNS, Santos e Pecadores, Delfins, The Gift, Pedro Abrunhosa e os Bandemónio, Sara Tavares, Tim, Da Wasel, Wonderland, Mind tha Gap, Sexto Sentido, Repórter Estrábico, Silence 4, James, Reammom, Mousse T., Fingertips, Mesa, Lullabye, Despina Vandi, Toranja and many others.

This year the party had about 16'000 participants.
