The model chosen by the organization was a concentration taking into account the pandemic situation we are still experiencing.
Perhaps this is exactly why the Rossio garden brought together only a few hundred people, who sheltered in the shadows of the trees, a scorching sun and with temperatures around 30 degrees, they decided to be present, shout slogans, and applaud the different speeches representing different organizations and even geographies.
From the AMPLOS Association – Association of Parents For Sexual Liberty, to Queer Tropical – Association Supporting Brazilian Migrants (but not only), were highly encouraging speeches, given the conditions that affect everyone and especially LGBT+ people.
Highlight to the participation of Clube Safo Association, 25 years after its beginning and in the city where it was created, until now the only one exclusively in the fight for the rights of lesbian persons, Alexa Santos recalled this fact as well as the presence of one of its founders, now deputy for the Bloco de Esquerda, Fabíola Cardoso.
Here is the list of entities present: Juntas - Feminist Movement of Aveiro - Amplos - Queer Tropical – COMOP; Organizing committee of the Marcha do Porto - Clube safo – PATH; Anti Transphobia and Homophobia Platform Coimbra - LGBTI Leiria - International Students - Anti-fascist Nucleus of Aveiro, and also some party representations present, namely BE, JS and PCP and its youth representation, JCP and also Volt Portugal.
