A sport that is relatively recent on big events, Beach Volleyball was also present on the OutGames. The competition format includes 2x2 and 4x4 games, and the competition is divided in 3 days for 4x4 teams and 3 days for 2x2 teams.
At the moment of writing the games have started for the 4x4 teams with teams from Canada, Nederland (2 teams from Royal Blok Holland Beach!), USA and United Kingdom.
With 30 games done on the Men's Division, it looks like Toronto is on the lead with the "Bastos!!!" team and "BIG DIGGERS" team, with the same victories of the USA team "California Underdogs".

Despite the fact that openly-gay Chris Morgan got a world record in powerlifting last December it looks like powerlifters did not find their way to the gay sports yet. With no more than 3 participants in each of the 7 weight categories the competition took only one day. The only division with real competition was the 82.51 to 90.0kg Men Masters (40-49 y.o).

Rowing was a much more popular event, with more than 50 categories and participants up to 63 years old. The categories included Boats for 1, 2, 4 or 8 persons either with or without coxswain. Also to be noted was the Adapted Rowing with participants from USA, Canada, Brazil and Nederland.
The most spectacular event was (as expected) the Men Open 8 Coxswain category that had 12 teams from USA, Canada, Australia and Denmark with more than 100 participants.
