Simply Red

O grupo britânico Simply Red for formado em 1984 pelo cantor Mick "Red" Hucknall (nascido Michael James Hucknall em 8 de Junho de 1960 em Manchester, Reino Unido) com três ex-membros da Durutti Column: Tony Bowers (baixo), Chris Joyce (bateria), and Tim Kellett (metais, teclado), e ainda Sylvan Richardson (guitarra) e Fritz McIntyre (teclado). Embora pouco se saiba oficialmente da vida privada de Mick Hucknall (o site oficial limita-se a indicar que ele "não é casado, nem nunca foi") diversas músicas do grupo ("Angel", "Night Nurse", "Ain't That A Lot Of Love") cruzam as barreiras de género e a banda tornou-se uma referência dentro da comunidade GLBT razão pela qual os colocamos nesta secção do site.
