About 300 persons marched in the first LGBT Pride March of Porto on the afternoon of 8 July. The march started at "Campo 24 de Agosto" near the spot where Gisberta was found deceased after being brutally beaten for two days in a row and dropped to die in a pit by a group of teenagers in February. The march followed the narrow streets of the city till Rua de Sá da Bandeira and ended in Praça D. João I, just 5 minute walk from the City Hall.
