This was the Best of the Year 2006 gala organized by Nova Era Radio. Nova Era Radio broadcasts on the North area near Porto and besides Pop and Rock has a strong focus on Dance Music. It is the most listned radio station in the area by younger persons.

The Gala included national bands like Expensive Sould, Da Weasel, Ez Special, Layout, Mundo Secreto, Gutto, Daniel Nascimento and Buraka Som Sistema. The Dance For Kids dance school of Oporto, from Carla Teixeira, was also there with acts from the almost kindergarden youngesters up to twenty somethings. Also present dance music names that make live performaces: Gary Nesta Pine with World Hold On hit, Dollar Man with Move Your Body (with Gary Nesta Pine), Tara McDonald, Barara Tucker and Chris Wills.
