Portugal's André Rodrigues (32) took home the award of Mr. Congeniality 2009.

André won the title in the traditional rose ceremony in the Mr. Gay Europe Competition 2009.

This was the chance for each Delegate to show their appreciation for the Delegate they think should become Mr. Congeniality.

It was up to each contestant to choose their favorite or who they thought was the most sympathetic. Each Delegate gave a rose to the candidate who he thought should be awarded the prestigious title.

It was André from Portugal that ended up with the most number of roses and thus won the title of Mr. Congeniality.

The roses were sponsored by Kreativ Flora, Oslo’s No. 1 florist and supplier to the Royal Family.
